Lewis Chessmen in Pewter, Small

Description

Pewter replicas of the 12th century medieval chessmen found on the Isle of Lewis. The pieces are hand cast in lead free English pewter, the light side are given a bright polished finish, and the dark side are given a darkened patinated finish that highlights their details.

The small set pieces are suprisingly weighty for their size being cast in solid pewter, and are shaped to sit firmly on the chess board.
The pieces are supplied without a board, within cotton bags in a branded presentation box.
